For most peoples use with 37s, 4.56-4.88 gears would be good, but depending on if you drive it on the road, alot, never, what ever?, you might want to go lower or higher.
ya i looked at one gear tire size chart and the 5.13 was the top on the daily driver, fuel milage. so idk what the hell just by bigger tires huh that would be cool

5.13's for milage???? Maybe with 44's................... maybe.
Man never trust those damn charts. I ran 3.55 with 35" all the way to 44". Most people over gear the trucks. ONLY if you are rock crawling would you use 5.13. I would only recommend the 4.56 because you are underpowered with the stock 360. If are willing to change your gears now then you know you are going to mod your motor up later. If you want any gas milage and streetability with 37" tires use 4.10 or 4.56 at the lowest. If you going to play in the mud you are going to want wheel speed and you know your truck has a low range in the transfer case. You use that not 5.?? gears. But thats my .02!!
there you go, see what they have to say. idk i followed this and i guess i shouldnt have? sucks now huh. well bigger tires and a new engine when i am in the navy sounds good
Well if already made that big of a change than don't sweat it now. You will have no problem with torque and power at all. You can leave everybody at the line at a stoplight. You just won't have good gas milage. But it could be worst.
By the way with that gear and 37" you might give the driveshaft hell when you floor it on pavement?

I disagree with this. I'd run 4.88's for 37" tires. For street use 4.56...
i ran 4.56's locked in the rear posi up fornt on the street and loved it i was running a 38" tire anyhow but they were perfect gearing for that size tire
ok orange ya thats right a kid right out of high school is going to have the cash to get rockwells let alone install them myslef. your good....lol well ya i guess dont worrry about it now since they are in. i guess like all things push it till something breaks the you have to get something bigger and better huh? when the drive shaft breaks or whatever i will try to get a one piece for it. hopefully it will be easy this next weekend so i can start out of third and go in the mud bog in third to keep the wheel speed
