GrayRock was HOT!!!

holy cow, dont think i have been that hot in a long time!

got some pics from the weekend. nothing great as i left the picture takin to my girl who actually went with me for once!

hopefully kubota will chime in with some pics of his own!

http://rides.webshots.com/album/5594...kf?vhost=rides

BTW... wouldnt ya know BEFORE i got to the first obstacle (while watching others make it up) i was sittin there and all of a sudden my front end drops about 6 inches. walk around and i lost a bead, lol. thats what those pics of the fire are, re-seating the tire. the ironic thing is i FINALLY got my beadlocks on friday but didnt have time to put them on since i was leaving friday!

damn that looks fun! I am so jealous... Should have gotten more pics man!

Oh well, you can make up for it by posting some of the new DBL's

Edit: How well does that reseating the bead trick work? I've seen threads on it before, but never in person. Does it matter what combustible agent you use?

lol when i get them put on i will post up some pics it might be a couple of weeks though. i am moving to a brand new shop and we have to get everything moved in

it works great if you have fresh starting fluid. and it HAS to be something very volatile. gasoline isnt quite volatile enough! starting fluid is just easy to find, buy, and store. spray inside the tire about 2 times, spray a wick to the outside of the tire, light, and get ready with lots of air! lol

Mkay, well if I don't get the DIY DBL thing going, then I might mount mine to the mil rims that way. Looks as if I won't need to though, but well see.

good luck with the move, where are you going to? New shop as in new location for work or new home?

neither... dad just built a nice new workshoip and he wanted it a certain size but decided not to use the whole thing so he is practically giving me a bay! couldnt resist, espcially since he bought a 10.5K lb garage lift from Bend-Pak that we are gonna put in saturday. not to brag but it should kickass! i told him i may end up just moving out there!

I think a tub chassis would be bad ***. I wanted to do it to my truck next summer, but there's no telling. If you did the tube frame, would you not do the cage? and are you talking about an internal or exo? If you could, I'd put both the frame and cage on, that would bring teh bling.

BTW, your propane sounds awesome...
