was out today picking up a part for the wifes car and a few miles from home my truck started pulling to the left a little, then more and more, and then it was pulling real good, but when i stepped on the brake everything was good, let go of the brake and it started pulling again, so i pulled into a parking lot and stuck my head under the drivers wheelwell and smoke is coming from the caliper and that sweet smell of burnt brakes was in the air. anyways i am sure my problem is a siezed caliper, so i am wondering will i have to change my rotor or just get it turned, and is there a chance that my wheel bearing could have gotten fried in the process?? also is there a link on how to change a caliper?
The same thing happend to me. I replaced both calipers and the rotor on the side where it was seized. Check the SS tube that guides the brake line out of the caliper. Mine was bent and when I would step on the brakes the bend would keep the brake fluid from flowing out of the caliper when I would let off the brakes.

i will look at the tube tommorow, thanks for the input, allthough i am thinking that the tube may not be the problem because i got new rotors and brakes (not calipers) about a year ago, and they have been working great until today. but doesnt hurt to check it out anyways, did you have to put new pads in as well?
Yeah, I did put in new pads. My tube got bent when i decided to bury my truck in mud up to the frame. I then needed a very large tractor to pull me out and the tube bent when we were doing the recovery. Let's just say that I'm not doing any serious mud play in my truck anymore. That first real good stuck just cost me too much money.
