i changed the drivers side caliper about4-5 months ago due to it siezing. and about 2 months ago i changed the caliper pins on the pass side with those upgraded ones everyone talks about on here. everything worked great, now the the last month now everytime i step on the brakes i will get a slight tug to the left and if i was to let off the brakes and reapply again, there is no tug. so i am wondering now if my pass side caliper is siezing slightly, but it shouldnt be with the new pin, and like i said everything worked great until now. i was going to take the pass side caliper off tommorow and check the pins and regrease them again, but not sure what else could cause this, you guys have any ideas or tips for me??
also when i installed the new pins i made sure not to have any air trapped behind the pin, i jiggled it until i could feel that the air came out, was this the right thing to do as well?
ok, well i changed out the pass side caliper today, and i still have the tug to the left, what should i try and do now, this doesnt make sense to me, any ideas?, try bleeding the caliper again? please help
I'd say check the rt. side for proper operation and then try bleeding it.
how do i go about checking that, take it off the rotor and see if it is moving? i can try and rebleed it again, it kinda puzzels me it is brand new, it should be working. and the drivers side is abut 4-5 month old and it seems to work better, i bought the new caliper from a different place this time, should that matter, i didnt think so.
Make sure the slide pins aren't stuck, remove the pads and make sure the two pistons are moving correctly. Put it back together and then try bleeding it.
*I'm just throwing stuff out there. Since it's pulling to the left (Upon brake application and not just dragging and pulling left all the time) I'm guessing the right is not applying equal braking power for some reason. Use a c-clamp on the pistons to see if you can compress them (one at a time) and push your brake pedal and see if they both come out equally. I think when you compress them with the c-clamp the other should move out.
thanks orezona, i will give it a go later tonight, i think i might try and bleed the pass side one more time, and if it doesnt work, i will try the c-clamp tommorow, either way i will report back
my $.02: If it tugs left then it is a left sticky caliper or as orezona said a right that isn't grabbing as hard. I'm thinking air in right line, or wierder still: right rear brake line got some air. Have you looked at the rears?

havent looked at the rears, bled them about four months ago when i did a fluid change after the drivers side front siezed on me. i to am leaning toward not bleeding enough on the pass side, but wierd thing is about a month ago, everything worked fine, like i said left side (drivers) was replaced not long ago, and i think if it were sticking it wouldnt tug to the left, not sure how air would get into the lines, but i guess anything is possible. i may give them all a quick bleed.
well, bled the pass front caliper again tonight, tons of air came out, it must take a bit to get it all out of the caliper, but i still have the tug to the left, doesnt seem as bad though, i am going to bleed it some more tommorow again after alittle more driving, i will keep you all posted (for those who are intersted)
you could possably have a hose problem a hose can slighty collaps and cause a slight pressure drop causing a pull snap-on makes a hose pressure tester but its more cost effective to replace the hose.

hmm, never heard of a hose collaping, what causes that??? i checked the pass side for a kink in it, but it seems good, i am taking it in on tuesday, had had a wheel allignment done about 1 1/2 months ago, and since then my truck is wanting to go to the left once in a while so i think i have an issue with allignment, so something may be loose.
