95 F-150 axle code

i got a 95 f150 5.0 4x4. my door jam axle code is H7. in the forums i seen they have an H9 but no H7? what is my axle gears?

Checking the owners manual in my 93 I saw H5 geared 4.10, H8 geared 3.08, and H9 geared 3.55 if I remembered right.

from what i have been reading H means limited slip. possibly 3:31 gears? were they available in the trucks?

yep just googled it

H7 is limited slip geared 3.31:1 first available in 95, hence my 93 had no idea
