Hi everyone, my first post. All I have ever had is GMC or Chevy pickups, 79-80 3/4 tons. Anyways, I am really thinking of getting a 1989 f-250- 4x4, 460, 5 speed, heavy axle, new tires and a snowplow. For $2000, I know the tires were $1000 themselves. This truck starts right up, seems to be all there but it has quite a bit of rust. I will get rid of the box and put on a bush box (utility box for logging or construction). So, how easy it to replace the front fenders and what does it cost to have the cab fixed? Thanks for your help.
Others have them too...Ebay has some parts on a hit and miss basis........you can look around for a donor truck too....maybe a blown engine "etc"
You can get cab corners and sheet metal at these too. If you can do body work......your cost is the parts and your labor.......if not.....get estimates.
Good Luck.........sounds like you'll have a nice one after you get it done.
