help rough idle
sometimes when i start my truck it runs really rough. i mean the whole truck vibrates pretty bad. sometimes if i shut it off and turn it right back on it quits. i just had the oil changed and the fuel filters were changed about 5000 miles ago. also should i disconnect the egr valve and will this void the warranty. i have an o3 6.0 with 79000 miles on it.

Could very well be injector stiction issues. Dealer can do an injector contribution test and cold soak test to help diagnose this problem. The latest flash addresses this issue and also cycles the turbo vanes and changes the EGR strategy. All of these are good things. It will cost you the $100 deductible for the warranty work however.

Disconnecting the EGR shouldn't void your warranty, but with that being said, it is easy to plug it back in before you take it in for service.
