ranger 4cyl
when i over rev my 2.5 liter engine it has a very rough idle and sometimes dies after the over rev. its a stick truck and sometimes i accidently over rev it. it has over 207000 miles on it. is there any fix?

The computer is programmed to cut off fuel/ignition to protect engine when you over rev. That's why the rough idling/stalling.

give us details of the Maintenance schedule you have done
