Auto locking hubs
I'm recently found a '77 bronco with what I believe is the original Dana 44 front end w/disk. The rest of the truck is junk but I want to swap this front end in my '70 bronco. I noticed that the '77 front end has auto locking hubs, or at least the hub is blanked off. Have you ever seen a bronc with this option?
The 66-77 history book says it became an option around this time, but every Bronco shop I've talked to has never seen it, and thinks this might not be an original front end. Do you have any insight on this?
