Yup another DP thread
Thats right, i installed the DP chip Thursday and have been smile since. I have 7 settings
0- no start
1- stock
2- hi idle
3- 80hp tow
4- 80hp eco
5- 120
6- 140
And the chip is burned for my BTS valve body which i was hopeing to have on Friday but hasn't come yet. I have been driving around w/ the 140 setting and can't seem to switch from it! I love the power and BLACK smoke on the 140 setting, but i have to really baby the trans so it will shift. It shifts really funny since the chip is burnt for the BTS VB and its not installed yet. All i have to say is you have to see the expresion on people's face that are driving on my passenger side of my truck when i hammer it.LOL
Iam going to get some pics and some video's of the new chip in action soon i hope...thanks again DP tuner

I giggle like a little kid every time i get on it and make black smoke, the wife is not all that impressed with my actions, but i doubt it will ever get old. hehe

Yeah the trans is pretty pissed at this time. Iam really wishing the brown truck stop's by on Monday with the VB.
Oh i just though its Memorial day on Monday!!! I guess Tuesday then.
Even if i set the chip on stock it still shift very weird so i guess no matter what tune its on it will still effect the trans. Maybe i should just park it till the VB comes?

like Alan said..go easy on it if its tuned for a BTS VB..i had the same problem when i got mine..jody see me chatting about it on here and advised me not to go over the 40 tow..it will raise hell with a stock VB and pump..

I just recieved word yesterday that my DP is in the mail. It should be here by Friday next week. I can hardly wait. Hopefully the VB comes next week as well.

Iam not going to lie, but i have been driving around since Thrusday night (after install of chip) on the 140 setting. I havn't been killing the trans, althought i guess it dosn't really matter since the trans still seems very pissed right now.LOL
As i accelrate i can tell when the trans wants to shift so i just ease off the pedal and it shifts kinda ok. I just got home and tried driving in the stock setting and it dosn't shift as harsh but instead it flares as it does go to shift. I know i said it before but i really can't wait for this VB to come in so i can really hammer this truck.
