Distributor mounted TFI modules question
What are the years for Distributor mounted TFI modules?
Does my '89 have one? (460)
I've had one go bad in a '87 Ford vehicle and wonder if I should replace it replace it pre-emptively.

I would say 1988 to 1991 so yes you would have one on the distributor.
I think the all* 1987 had a Carburetor and DS II Ignition and the 1992 moved it to the fender.

The ones the Auto Parts stores sell do not work too well sometimes.
If it does not say "Motorcraft" on it do not buy it.
