TFI Module

Can I just bring in my truck to FORD to have them replace the TFI MODULE?

You could. Or you could do it yourself. It takes all of 15 minutes. The hardest part about it is going down to the parts store and shelling out 4 or 5 bucks for the special tool that's needed.

Would Ford do this for free or can i just go in and ask them for the TFI module? or do i have to pay it?

I don't recall all the details on the TFI court stuff but I don't see a recall listed, I do remember something about them making it limited by the mileage.

My Bronco II had too many miles on it for the recall. Here's a place for more information on the recall:

I had to buy mine from the dealer, think it was around $126. plus tax for the part. Service department also recommends replacing the stator at same time, that was another 60 bucks plus labor for all. But it is running great now.
