I'm thinking about putting a dynomax exhaust system and headers on my 5.0L 302. I've not had much exposure to dynomax and was wondering if anybody could give me some input on the quality and sound of their products.
thanks
Well i had 2 dynomax super turbo mufflers on the truck before i bought some flowmasters the dynomaxes were excellent they sounded pretty good i bet would sound better with headers and bigger pipes had a nice rumble at idle and under 2000 rpms when you stepped on it sounded good
Only reason i went with flowmaster cause if you look in my gallery i wanted true dual exhaust out the back instead of two pipes out the stock location and wanted something more louder on the truck dynomax good quality product in my opinion
I have a set of Dynomax Headers (Cermaic Coated) on my 74' F-100 302ci. They are decent but the thing I didn't like is they started rusting and the ceramic started peeling a couple years after I bought them, But for $150 its to be expected.
I have a Dynomax Ultra-Flow muffler on my 04' F-250 SD and really like it. Dynomax makes great stuff and I would not hesitate to buy more dynomax products. Dynomax uses Glass packing in there mufflers which I prefer. The Ultra-Flow like I have is one of there loudest mufflers and I think it sounds great.
I just have glasspacks on my 74' F-100, for the money its hard to beat glasspacks.
