Dynomax Headers
I just but the bullett and ordered a set of Dynomax headers part# 85041. I have a 1975 F100 with a 360 in it. It has a 3 speed on the floor (not stock of course). From what I can glean from all the other posts, the people with Dynomax headers all seem to have problems with them hitting the power steering pump. Does anyone have any recommendations as to some common pitfalls I may run across? All help is VERY much appreciated, I am going to pick up the headers on Tuesday. Now I know I should have gotten the Sanderson or Stans headers, but I only paid $250 for the truck. I am dying to get it on the road, the only problems are that the pass side header broke at collector (the bottom piece?) and the brakes went out on the previous owner. They didnt feel right to me either so even though im getting the headers on there, i still wont be able to wind it out until it gets to a shop so the brakes can be fixed...I may attempt it myself but thats another post :-) Thanks for all your inbfo again guys,

Greg,
Yeah I just found out about the shift linkage thing. Me and my cousin had to take some bracket off to get the drivers side header off. The only thing that may be in the way on the pass side is the starter. Im gonna see if I can find some kind of heat shield to protect my power steering pump. Here's a pic of the old header from the drivers side:
