keyless entry stopped working
Hello all, on my 99 DRW my keyless entry just stopped working. Either remote doesn't respond. I replaced battery on one of the units just to eliminate the obvious. I checked a few fuses and they are ok. I am planning a more thorough search one evening but any ideas what I should be looking for? Don't know if this is related or not but my left turn signal blinks very fast all of the sudden as well.

Rick,
Take your key put it in the ignition and turn it to off, then turn it from run to off 8 times ending with the key on, the locks should cycle once. if they do not, then you module is dead. If they do cycle, press one button on a single remote and they should cycle once more and then turn the key back and pull it out.hopfully if should work by then.

can't explain it but I got under the dash and unplugged the unit and pulled each fuse and plugged everything back in and it started working again. Weird. Thanks for the info anyhow ccerniglia. I'll keep it handy for the future.
