Thanx. I would apreciate the pic if no big prob. I did see a steel line that looked like it tucked underneath the intake manifold at the front but it seemed to be connected to a rubber line. maybe it was wrapped in rubber. I will try to find it better shortly. If this line is so hard to see and get to how would you suggest I tap into it. Could be tricky. Also what does the sensor look like it seems that it would look like any other sensor but I may be wrong.

Thanx for your help. If there is anything I can do for you let me know. I will stay on that BD thing for ya.

the steel line with the rubber is the water drain for the fuel filter. The line we are after will be very close to that one as it get toward the front of the engine. The end of the line is not real hard to get to but it is vertical with the sensor sitting on top of it. I think it uses a pipe thread so taping into it should be easy. I think!

The sensor looks very much like the ICP sensor that is on the drivers side head pointing inward at a 45* angle, near the A/C compressor.

I think I just found it. It is in front of the HPOP reservoir behind the tensioner pulley. I was looking behind it. Thanx again.

Neal are you looking at your 97 or X? the X should be infront of the HPOP but your 97 should be behind. I have some pics but I am going to label a bunch of stuff one them before I post them up.

I am looking at the '97. It was a sending unit with a plug and both look exactly like the ICP on the drivers side head. The one you do the 10 K mod. But my boost line is a steel one that comes up from behind the alt bracket then turns to the front of the HPOP housing behind the idler pulley. I will try to get a pic but don't think I can post till tomorrow.

I know you are going to think I am crazy but mine is in front of the reservoir. I will post a pic tomorrow for ya. I am not good with webshots and don't have an acct. Maybe now is a good time to start. How do you link your "truck pics" in your sig to them? I may be able to figure it out????????? I did have one more question for you: I have a pic of mt truck for the avatar but I can't get it less than 340X3?? pixels. How did you reduce yours for your avatar. I don't have any pic software is that what I need? Sorry for bombing you with all the questions and thanx for your help.

Ok so your exhuast backpressure sensor is one the front of HPOP. I wonder if the tube has been changed to the new style or something. Oh well atleast you found it! AS for the pics I just pasted the link from webshots intot he sig. Renaming it took while and advice from others. Not sure if I remember how to do it though. I will experiment and see if I can relearn to tell you how. And the avatar pic I did used some microsoft picture program that is on my laptop. then just shrunk it down. Kind of a pain to do but finally got it to work.

OK thanx for the info. I now have pics in sig but would love to put "Truck Pics" or something similiar like you did due to 300 char. or less. Take a look at the pics to make sure that I am correct. I do believe I am. My truck was manufactured in 09/97 so maybe it is different like you said. Also there is a pic of some kind of plug that looks like it has been capped off where you originally described where the BP should be. What is this?

Thanx a million for your help.

Thank You again. I will monitor the EBP sensor to try and determine how hot it gets during full load. It may not be that bad given it's location.

ok I figured it out (thanks to cuda jim for telling me the first time!)

ok so first go to the edit signature thing and type what every you want the link to say. In my case, Truck Pics.

The in the tool bar the bottom row there is a icon there that looks like a globe with a paper clip called "insert link". you need to highlight "truck PIcs" and then hit that button. in the space there you paste the link to your webshots. then hit ok and your done. that what easyonce you figure out what the little buttons are for! it took me quite a while the first time and finally had to ask for help.
Hope that is clear. Feel free to ask for clear directions if you have a problem!

Tim you are my hero...I DID IT. YAAAAY.
By the way I order the '08 AL diff cover for $45.00 last week and they put a priority call on it for me so as they say, "you should have it soon". I am guessing 3 weeks. HaHa.
