Those must be the C2's I heard they are extremely bright. I talked with someone today that had them and had to tint them. Crazy bright.

Well you want have any problems with the hewitts but be prepared for some wrenchin with those autometers. Just my $.02 worth

How are you gonna hook a gauge up to a downpipe thats anywhere from 300* at idle to 1200* at full board? I would think the heat would just melt the boost tube right?

Maybe if I ran a solid line and coiled it some as a heat sink then hooked the pliable line to that?

Maybe, I dunno. The one to ask would be dave at BD to be honest. he has added backpressure gauges to many of his rigs so I could only assume he would know how to do install one.

How can I get in touch with him.?

Also let me back-up. Does the backpressure gauge get installed on the d-pipe? I woould think it gets installed pre-EBPV or on the up pipe? Which would be worse but I am confused on where it shouod be installed to read backpressure.

Neal you would read the back pressure before the turbo. so up-pipes or manifold would be a good spot as well as the tube for the exhaust back pressure sensor. You might be able to T into the end of that tube where sensor goes.

OK thanx. I will look for the back pressure sensorin a minute but till I get a chance to go outside can you direct me in the correct location to look for it. I would assume on or near the uppipes where they enter into the manifold. Also wouldn't the heat be a problem with the plastic line or should I go hard line for awhile and then plastic as stated earlier? Thanx for the help.

the EBP sensor is located just behind the HPOP reservior on the passenger side. It has a bracket that holds it the is bolted to the top of the HPOP reservior. I would use Copper line most if not the whole way to the gauge. I think the heat should leave the copper fast enough. Don't hold me to it though!

What is the sensor screwed into? Is it below the GPR. I found some braided lines but I believe they ar HP oil lines then there is a rubber line below that. I only have 1 thing on top of the HPOP reservoir and I believe that is some kind of sending unit for the reservoir. My fancy PSD cover is not ther I got tired of people breaking it so I took it off so I should see what you are talking about but I am confused maybe. Am I looking for a rubber or steel line?

your looking for a steel line but it will be pretty hard to see with the sensor in place as it is routed behind the alternator bracket that bolts to the engine. This sensor will be right up tight to the back of the HPOP reservior. I will snap a pics of it when I get home if you haven't found it yet.
