fyi, an airpump spins so freely it robs basically NO hp, and besides looking ugly, there is absolutely no reason to remove it.

If I was planning on driving it on the street I would hook it up. I had do a complete engine overhaul, for the amount of use the truck will see there is absolutely no reason to hook it back up. Running open headers professional mud bogging there no reason to hook it up.
