Cab Mounts

Hey guys and gals,

I'm in the middle of a ground-up restoration of my 75' Ford F-100 Explorer 4x4. It was time for a new cab, and the rubber cab mount bushings. When I got the cab off and the bushings out, I realized that the mounts on the frame that the cab mounts bolt to are shot. I've checked LMC, but they don't offer these. Does anybody know a place that sells them?

You can always use some 3/16 plate and fix what you got... Worked for me. Bit of grinding and youd never know I put new metal in..

I'm afraid mine are beyond that. There's really nothing left to attach new metal to.

i had a local fab shop make new ones for my highboy. He did a great job and they look 100% factory. Might be an option for you to consider if you can find a good shop nearby.

Only the rear cab lower mounts are listed in the 1973/79 Ford parts catalog. They are the same as 1967-72. = C7TZ-8100155-A FTE sponsor GREEN SALES has two in stock (800-543-4959).

You may be able to use all the 67/72 cab mounts on your truck. The part numbers for the hardware are the same 1967-79. It might take a little work to make them fit correctly, but it's better than nothing.

Same problem here. I fixed mine the same way marcs724 did by having a new pair made up...no regrets.

I've seen a pair on ebay recently. Mb try a search there using 1977 ford truck.

Good luck

crap - wish I would have seen this earlier. I had some rust free ones just went to the scrapper on an old/bad frame.
Good news is I think I may have more on another frame. I can look when I get home, but am pretty sure if anything I on;y have the fronts left.

Do you need all 4, just the fronts or???

Let me know what you need, and if I've got it I'll send you pics and a price

I think I've got a set waiting, but I'll keep that in mind if it falls through.
