Disc Brake Conversion

I am trying to find out if anyone knows a reason why the disc brake setup off of a 77 Jeep Wagoneer would not mount up to my 75 F100 4x4. Both are Dana 44's and I have everything from the knuckle out. Just figured I'd ask before teardown.

You will most likely have an issue with the proportion valve/master cylinder, but nothing to major.

That's why I have a Ford Master and Proportioning valve. Thanks for the info, I thought it would work but figured I'd ask before teardown.

It not just the manufacturer, but the ratio and pressures are different for disc and drum brakes. I want to say the disc requires less pressure because of the size of the piston compared to the wheel cylinder, but I can't remember if that's what I have read or just my thinking.

Also dimensions. I am not sure if there is a difference in the widths of the two. You might want to verify that. There could be some alignment issues.
