I have a 1988 Bronco xlt...all power with 351w.
When I turn my key, I get all the dummy lights, but no ignition!
Checked the actuator (o.k.) also checked the ignition switch which is o.k. I im getting power all the way to the firewall of passenger compartment but no power at firewall of engine compartment! What's up? I'm getting tired of starting the engine with a screwdriver at the starter solenoid...
It is the starter, ford was making crappy starters for a while there is a recall for them I don't know what years but californa is making ford recall all the starters.
drive your truck to auto zone and they can check your starter on the truck, and you might want to check the ground cable from battery to the block.
sometimes they get corroded and may cause this good luck,
