On pavement, 4X4 with different axle ratios it would wreck the drivetrain real soon, like in minutes, depending on vehicle speed and the amount of turns. On dirt, a couple of hours later, IMO.
Larger tires WILL NOT do the same thing as higher (numerically) gears.
Gears can be purchased from a variety of places. You can even start at the dealer where a new R&P will run around $200 or so. Randy's Ring and Pinion is a trusted aftermarket source but there are lots of places out there.
Lo0k to spend $2000+ to purchase and have installed your new gears. BTW, 4.30s on the PSD will be great for pulling heavy, heavy loads...in fact, loads that your truck isn't even rated for. So unless you're putting some big meats underneath, save your dough.
If you want it just to improve acceleration, there are cheaper methods for doing that on a PSD truck.
