Not sure about anybody else's but on my pickup the vacuum can shielded the ignition module from direct radiant heat off the engine. Wanted to move that sucker back out of my way since '75. :) And always thought "better not do that :/".
So several years ago, I moved the ignition module! :)
Moved it to the other side of the fender-apron. :)
Now the juice can is back out of my way finally. :)

Thanks everybody. My truck does have a/c on it. And so does my dad's. He has got a 79 supercab. I think I will try an relocate it, but definately keep it. I like my a/c. I drive it everyday. It gets hot here in florida!
