New Sync update will not install

Anyone else having trouble with the latest sync update? keeping getting "Installation file not found" error?

I have done this before so I know how to do it. Tried two different USB sticks also, including the one I used for the last update. All files are correct on the USB stick.

This is on my signature truck 2013 with basic ford sync system.

They make it so hard to do these days. I can't seem to get all the files on my SD drive. I download the zip file and extract it then the site tells me to unzip one of the files, drag them to my drive and install. This is way to complicated so I just take it to the dealer and they do it free.

Are you updating MyFord Touch?

Here is what the file structure looks like for me:
Total Folder size is about 564mb for the 3.8 Update. 20 file inside the SyncMyRide folder.

Also the MD5 hash is B1BBBFD716537194F20F83BDED3BE0C3 for the zip file that is downloaded. Check it to make sure it is not corrupt.

Try another usb stick I went through 3 to find one that would work for some reason.

I have not received any notification of this update. Is it something that pops up in the MFT screen? Or would I get an email from FordOwner.com?

This is a known issue with 4.4. Is that the version you're downloading? It's been a problem for months. It's killing me.

I got 4.4 installed no issues, this is 4.6 and can't get the basic sync system to find the install file.

I just checked my online at Owner.ford.com and it says I'm up to date but when I look at the history of the updates it says my current version is SYNC2 - V3.8 and it was from November 2015?

This is in my 2013 F250 by the way

Clear the history, cookies, and cache from the browser and download again. You can try on another browser too!

Hammer40330 and GulfCoastSD,

The latest version for MyFord Touch vehicles is 3.8. The update that ATP Pilot is referring to is actually for the Gen 1 systems.
