bed fitting on 56 effie
hi im trying to see if anyone knows or has pictures of their bed at the top near the cab to see how high or low my bed has to sit from the top of those lines on the back of the cab . right now im about 1/2" below them. Also where do the "bed mounting pads" go ?

The bed mounting pads go under the crossmembers. My 55 is different on the back than your 56, so no help there.

I have seen 56's where the front bed rail covered the ends of the stiffening beads and where they did not. I think there are differences in 56 cabs.

The old boy still has the original bed. I've not touched that yet. FWIW. Standard cab/Express bed.
