Cab Tin
I'm still working on my 61 Uni and have run across a small problem. The back of the Cab Also the front of the bed has rusted about 3/4 of an inch up all the way across the bed, cab. I have a Dennis Carpenter book and don't see that particular item in there. Does anyone know if you can get a replacement pan for the back of cab front of bed anywhere or will i have to mack something for it.I was hopeing it would fit on the bed side and be bent the same as the cab and the bed. Thanks for the help
LMC catalog indicates they offer the cab patch panel, as well as, John's F100. Another company, Mills Supply list the cab patch panel. Purchased from both LMC, and John's F100, never needed a panel so can't speak of the quality. Purchased rear fender for flareside from John's F100 and found they were made from thin gage sheet metal. Imagine most body supply retailers get their panels from same source. If decide to go with John's F100, definately need to call and inquire if item is in stock, very helpful staff but there has been occasions when project was on hold for extended period of time waiting for replacement parts. LMC is some what closer, may want to give them a call. I would not order without contacting supplier to find out if item is in stock, if not, how soon would it take for them to get it, may also be interesting to know what gage material the panel is made, doubtful they will know.

Classic Auto, use to be called Obsolete Ford Parts before FoMoCo hassled them and eventually they change their name, has a selection of patch panels, not sure if they have the cab corner, Suggest giving them a call. Purchased a bed for my 65 F100 and it was damn good quality.
