Hmmm. There should be a small wiring harness going to it. I see nothing like that at the air filter box, nor along the way to the TB. There is a small wire harness plug going into the side of the TB on one of the two barrels, and it looks like the harness that goes to the MAF on the 3.0 Aerostar (which is at the outlet of the air filter box), but I don't think that could be it.
It is an EFI engine. It's not possible I don't have amass air flow sensor, is it? I know they changed to Speed Density at one point. Oh, I bet my truck has the Speed Density instead. If that is the case, what does it look like, where is it located, and will spraying intake cleaner harm the speed density whatever the thing it is?
Seems I hosed this intake once before and didn't have bad effects.

I found my answer in another thread. I searched "speed density" and got this:
I do not have a sensor just after the air box or between the air box and throttle body. So I must have speed density. Anyway, the intake cleaner should not be a problem in that case, so I plan to hose it maybe tonight with this Valvoline (for professional application) spray stuff. Says to shut off engine, but I think it would be fun to hose with the engine running, aye?
Maybe hose it till it dies, then let it sit half an hour and fire it back up?
My 95 F150 is speed density. To see if it has mass airflow see if there is a mass airflow sensor just after the air filter box. Its between that and the throttle body. My uncles 96 F150 300 has mass airflow. His is OBD II though mine is OBD I. I believe 96 and later all had to be up to the new standards of OBD II.
