90 bronco AOD maf conversion

I have a 90 302 AOD tranny want to convert to maf and sfi instead of SD and batch fire. do I need to match maf sensor to computer? A9L or A9p? where to find wiring diagrams for harness? do I need two O2 sensors?
will a 347 work with stock FI with maf conversion?

Yes.. for best results use the meter that would be used in the car the computer comes from. Doesn't matter what computer both will work and are widely supported by tuning hardware.

Yes and no. The mustang computer uses 2 sensors and you can wire in a pair, but you can also put a jumper in to feed both inputs from 1 sensor, this is what the Ford conversion kit does.

Depends. A mild 347 using stock 5.0 heads would work just fine, I ran a 351 with upgraded cam in my truck for years no problem at all. If the stroker has better heads/intake and outflows the stock injectors then you have to do something to compensate. Using scaled injector/MAF combos will work for racing purposes but will have increasing drivability issues the bigger the injectors are. Custom tuning is the right solution and can produce stock like drivability.

Brand New Ford Racing MAF Conversion Kit for Sale

If your really interested in a MAF conversion I have a brand new Ford Racing MAF Conversion kit for sale (best offer) in the classified section. This is the M9000-T50/T51 kit. It's definitely the easiest way to do a MAF conversion but it isn't the cheapest way. I picked this kit up quite a while ago and never installed it. Decided to get the Ford Racing Mustang engine harness (M12071-C302) and remove the truck harness and wire in the Mustang harness. The wiring was a lot easier than I thought but component relocation is a work in progress. It made a day and night difference in truck and it just passed Maryland emissions on a Fast Pass which means they didn't even run the complete test since it was running so clean. Definitely idles and runs so very much better. Anyway, I obviously don't need the Ford Racing MAF conversion kit anymore so I'm offering it here first to forum members before I list it on E Bay. This is a brand new kit (unused) and complete with instructions and it comes wiht an A3M computer which is for Manual trucks but I can substitute an A9P for AOD or C6 automatics. If anyone's interested feel free to contact me directly at WTRBKT@MSN.COM or you can call me at (301) 885-1569 between 4 PM and 7PM. Please don't call after 7 PM as I tend to to go bed early. That happens when your 57 years old and have many miles on your body.
