I say get some marshmellows and wieners buddy and have a tailgate party. MMMM food cooked with diesel what could be better. I have not seen any of them shooting flames going down the highway, but if they did Ford should design a grill attachment to hook to it.
I thought it was a Bad Batch of Injectors that was causing the Flames!! Not the programming!! That was the latest I had heard. Maybe this guy has one or two bad injectors! He could still be a Troll though!!

You are correct, it was bad injectors leaking in a couple of trucks and a cracked shaft in a turbo allowing an oil leak in another truck.
The manufacture for the fuel injectors had recalled a whole batch before the fire out the tail pipe occurred, but International and FMC had not gotten a hold of all the vehicles with the defective injectors prior to the fire out the tail pipe. The recalled injectors is one the reasons that the shipment of 08 trucks was halted for awhile. The new flash is just a safety device that monitors the temperatures of the exhaust and particulate trap for excessive temperatures and shuts the truck down if excessive temperatures are detected. Fire out the tail pipe only occurs if raw fuel or oil is getting into the exhaust pipe and catching fire in the particulate trap (DPF).
