05 power elbow installed
So I got my power elbow from dfuser today. I got an 05 newer style for my 04, which in order to do you have to remove the EGR throttle body wich the 04s have. First of all its easy to do, unplugged the two connectors wich didnt bring up a CEL. I noticed a pretty good power increase at lower rpms, when your really gettin on it and it shifts to the next gear, it pulls alot harder. And it overall just seems to run a little smoother. My exhaust even sounds a little louder, and has a little more turbo whistle. So I think its a pretty good mod for 150 bucks, Im staying away from any mods that will sacrifice my motor, so I couldnt go wrong with this one.

OK, I'm new to the diesel quadrant, what's a Power elbow? Where does it go, what does it do and where do you get them? Sounds to good to be true. You guy both have the 6.0 psd, have you had any problems with head gaskets? Thanks, Rex

I want to do the cross-over line mod, just dont want to attempt it myself, And I dont know of anyone around here that would.

i dont think it would be that hard....just put the front up on some stands it could be done with basic hand tools...

You also have the accufab option as well, which I use. I haven't heard of any issues with them as there have been with others (dfuser). See thread.

Glad you got it in and like it...
It is like you have a tuner set on level 1, it is just with a tuner you have 4 more levels
.
Thinking about going with the Banks Techni-cooler to complete the airflow project. As you can see the PSD loves smooth air....

Get a hold of LIPD at www.lidiesel.com, they have the Spearco intercoolers which are cheaper than the Banks, and are as good or better than Banks.
