My 03 limited all black was $20K with 53K? miles mid 50K miles somewhere. If i got a different color i coulda had a limited with 25K miles for the same price. I was set on the all black though and still dont regrett it. All blacks seem to be priced higher everywhere though.

I'd definitely say that $25,000 sounds high to me. I'm from Alberta as well, just bought my X a few months back (2000 V10 135000km) for about $8000 less than what you've been quoted. I went flew out to Vancouver and bought and drove it back to Alberta.

I'd keep looking if I were you, Alberta is a crazy market right now...to much money flowing around here. You might want to look at units in BC, SASK, or MAN where the markets might be softer.

I most definately will post pics when I buy my Ex and will also likely start hanging out on this forum --- pesting you all with crazy questions . I have heard enough to know I'm not buying the one I'm looking at though. Thanks for the idea about looking in other provinces. Time to broaden my horizons. But I am set on an Ex so get use to me!!!

Update --- I am now looking at a 2000 Ex Limited 4X4 V-10 with 190000 km (118000 miles) with a asking price of $10900 Cdn ($9659 US) from out of province. Funny how this truck is worth its weight in gold in one place and worthless elsewhere. I really like the interior wood accents. Will keep everyone posted.

New Update -- just bought my very first Excursion . It's a 2001 XLT 4x4 V-10 with 78000km (48467 miles); paid $16000 ($14,245 US) for it. I fly out to Winnipeg on Saturday to drive her home. Thanks everyone for your opinions and shopping tips during this process.I'm going to shut up now as I'm a little bit excited to get my baby whale home . I'll try to post some pics the owner e-mailed me. Thanks again everyone.
