No Throtle Response

No Throtle Response

Has anyone ever have the the throtle not responed and then have it come back?
this happened to today when I was merging,and then the check light came on.
I scaned it and it said throtle cricute b.
This has happened once before but went away,not to sure how to fix it.

Its most likely your idle validatin switch which is located in the pedal assembly. I had the same problem in an '01 and after replacing the pedal assembly it worked like a champ. Although mime never threw a code.

Replace the pedal assembly.

I had the same problem and the same code. I bought a new pedal assembly but it didn't fix anything. It ended up being a chaffed wire under the hood. Drivers side, 2 wires were actually rubbing up against the shock tower and grounding out... a little inspection, liquid electrical tape, 3m rubber splicing tape and some zip ties cured my problem.

Thanks guy's , I'll check for chafed wires or a loose conection.
I mean, I should be checking for that anyway since it was rolled a while back.
If all fails I'll replace the pedal assembly......

I see you're in cali.. I have a used spare you can try if you want.. I bought a new one and there ended up being nothing wrong with my original. So it just sits. Might save you some $$

Mine did this one time a few months ago, and just went away and never came back. Im just waiting for the day it completely goes out. Idk if it was from the chip or not.
