Throtle Postion Switch - '86 F-150

Can anyone tell me the EXACT way to install the Throtle Position Switch on a 1986 300-6 F-150 2X4 with a Carter Carb? I've rebuilt the carb but somehow forgot which way the TPS goes on. (It's spring loaded and I have no idea which way it fits on.)

I dont think the carb Tps can be adjusted ? It should only fit on one way .
