I have a 1978 Ford F150 with Factory A/C on a 351M engine. I took the bracket off to get it power coated, along with several other brackets, and now I cannot find it. I am sure that I will eventually run across it, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get another one.
This is the bracket that has the pulley attached to it, which bolts to the top of the A/C compressor, the pulley is the one that holds the actual belt that drives the compressor...a tension pulley, set with 2 bolts and a pry bar. Its just a small triangular piece of metal which bolts the to bracket that holds the top of the compressor to the block.
Anyone know where I can get one of these? I might check Auto-zone, I just today realized that it was missing. And I am kinda peeved about it...
I have saved alot of these misc. brackets. But I don't know what it looks like. If you can describe or have a picture I should be able to find something for you.

I don't have a photo, I wish I did. It looks like a triangle, long on the bottom, point at the top, and 1 screwhole on one point which attaches to the bracket on the track, and the pulley at the other end.
Here is a photo I found online. The bracket I refer to is the one at the top left corner. Its got a 1/2" rachet-head square in the bracket, for tightening, a screwhole at the top and a pulley at the bottom.
I will check at the shop tomorrow. If anything I have 6 complete cores coming in hopefully in a week or so.
Go ahead and E-mail me tomorrow, & remind me.

I have one. I replaced the bearing in it a few years ago, while it was on my motor. I removed the Sanden compressor (134A) and brackets when I changed to a Serpentine belt system.
However I don't want to separate it, unless I can sell the compressor. It also has an adapter for the Sanden compressor.
