i seem to have taken over this thread sorry. the sway bar links have been replaced with custom made heavy duty links and the breaks were rechecked again yesterday for being loose but ok.
I had a clunck come from the front end of my truck a few weeks ago and it was the sound of a tie rod breaking away from the truck, thank GOD i was in a parking lot when it happened and not going 70m.p.h. down the highway
I'm with Wilbur15, take a good look at the sway bar end links.
Links look perfectly fine to me actuly, thats why I was so clueless, I couldnt see anything wrong,
HOWEVER, I havnt has a "clunk" since I greased the hell out of everything, I hope I wasnt to late and didnt cause any major damage, but It seems to have stoped the problem.. I do expect to the clunk to come back, but its been almost a week and no clunk...
