gp test

gp test

i know its been up a million times, and i have read it that many times also, but i have forgotten, how do i test my gp's wtih a test light? or do i need to use an ohm meter?

Hook the positive lead of the test light to your battery, probe the top of your GP, with the wire off - the light should light up. Basic test.

if you use an ohm meter com to ground and positive to gp the spec is less than 5 ohms

The ohm reading should be about .5 ohms.

GPs must be cold...cold or the resistance will be high and you will think they are bad.
