new rebuilt E40D

Hello.....Question?
I just had a ford factory rebuilt tranny installed in my bronco
and it shifts great!! But my concern is that when you take off
from a stop first gear wines almost like a very steep gear? and
fades away as it shifts into second gear. All runs and shifts good
just sounds strange. The dealer said its normal and I should'nt
worry about it. Has anybody ever heard of this or experienced
this??? (Im not to worryed it has a 1 year warrenty) I just dont
want to be stuck on some moutain someware with my camper this summer.

I think you need to know that the E4od in the Bronco is not the same as the F-150. I went thru this with mine and 5 transmissions later the dealership finally got it right. The major guts are the same but it has to do with the pickup tube is different otherwise the transmission starves for fluid and burns up.
