4 hours away wouldnt be that bad if you went for a whole weekend, or long weekend type thing. Sounds like a sweet old truck they have just sitting around though.

Yeah it is and since its relative im sure they would give it to me cheap or for free im guessing anyways but still i have been planning to get it hopefully it works out like the 460 was just burning oil and the tranny was rebuilt before it the engine went but steering colum is toast and diff needs replaced or fixed spyder gears

They also had a older 70 71 or 72 4x4 would of been a good truck to get ahold of unfortunatly someone beat me to it

Yeah sherm space thing does suck especially when your my age still at home and going to school not to doable so im must be getting a head of myself once again!

I`m all ears too but first Dustin has to decide what he wants to do.
The older 70-72 4x4 would have been nice too.

Yeah i dont know my relative said he may keep it and fix it for his son 15 well im like to myself yeah right cause it needs a crap load of work done and that 460 wont make a good daily driver in the city but then he said he may not want it cause he is into sports he may not want a car plus its been sitting for ever

We will see i want it still you guys should rememeber it i asked the question if you could swap in a smaller motor for it cause it has the 460 i asked when i like first joined here

Oh yeah i forgot to add that its a trailer special with the toolbox in the bed thingy so its pretty rare or so i think if it wasnt so far away also what i said in the last post is basically the main reason why i was looking for a differenet project like yours Morris (77) or Scotts old 79

It would be a fun truck especially since its in the family i fix it all up and show it you my relatives they would never reconize it lol!

That would be the coolest part, bringing it back there to show your relatives, that and putting that pedal to the floor

And swaping for a smaller motor is a good idea if a guy wants it for a good driver. Alot cheaper for fuel.

Yeah it would be preppy but i dont think my relative nor his son has the time money or ambition and the son dont look like a FTE at all soo..hope for the best
but the relative is cause that was his truck all he drove was fords he has 99 F150

I rather take it make it a show/cruiser with that big 7.5 460 and maybe perform er out bore it and just perform it to the nuts blower everything lol now im geting carried away
