2004 Airbag light on

2004 Airbag light on
My '04 Scab has recently been illuminating the airbag light. Last 4 days straight. Only once did i get flashing. Didn't know that I should count them until I found that out surfing today on the forum. It has only flashed once, and flashed both the dash idiot light, and the red security light by the windshield- at the same time. The rest of the time, it just illuminates the idiot light, and the other light isn't on.
Should I take it in? There is no flashing for me to count lately, and I really don't want this thing to pop going down the highway... LOL!
