Hey everyone,
I have a 99 F150 XLT and the interior is getting a little shabby so I want to reduild the entire interior, possibly even change the colour from tan to black. I know where to get new carpets, but im not sure where to get head liners and all the plastic mouldings in the cabin. Would it be possiple to use some kind of dye to change the colour of the mouldings? Also, I want to change all the seats which includes the 2 buckets in the front, and the bench in the back. Does anyone know how i can get a set of king ranch seats without making my wallet significantly lighter?
Thanks for looking
Richard
you can buy some plastic coat type paints, but you would probalby be happier with a complete interior of the proper color. best price is probably to check at local junk yard, tell them what color you are looking for. have them keep you in mind and call when the get something. tell them you want the entire interior. you should get a better price by buying the entire insides.--- as for the KR seats, forget that. you would have to sell your first born to afford a set of those.
also ask the auto yard if you can "trade" yours in and save 30% of the cost. they should be able to sell your seat and make some money easier than you can get rid of them.
