I have been seacrhing lists wth little usaeble info. Please help me. I have a 1979 Bronco, stock with 351m and C6and original 2bl carb. I had to replace the throttle lever when the spring to the accelerator pump lever broke. I drove it 400 miles and on some trails, worked great.
Last week I was relplacing Header gasket on passenger side and checking the bolts on driver side, when I noticed that the kickdown bracket was not attached to the Carb. This would explain the poor perforfance from earlier in the day.
I dont know when the lever came off. I could not find an empty post to attach the lever to.
Were does it attach to the 2bbl carb? A diagram or picture would be great.
