Dome light wiring
When i put in a new wiring harness I want to get the dome light working. I know that it runs from the headlight to the dome light. My question is there anyway to wire it up so that it will turn on with the head light swithc and turn on when the door opens? I know that I need switches to the door post but after that I am lost. thanks

This is actually pretty simple. Run a constant hot wire with a fuse to the door post . Then run it to the wire going to the dome light. As long as you dont have the door open and the dome switch on the light, will never have any issues.

The dome light is powered from the headlight switch. The wire color should be black-blue. Search previous posts, and you may find the diagram you need or get yourself a wiring diagram. Only about $7. Good luck.
