It is called "Walker's Engine Service" and is located on Jackson avenue.
If you turn in toward the city from the northeast on 240 you go a mile or so and cross an overpass. IMMEDIATELY on the right is an import shop that is no longer in business, BUT - behind it at the very back is Walker's.

Sandy Walker has been doing this for over thirty years, they build race engines to spec, any idea you want to try they will machine for you UNLESS IT WILL NOT WORK! Sandy will tell you, and won't do it.

I saw more wild machinery in that shop today than I have in a very long time...

Are you talking about the midtown Jackson exit or the Raliegh Jackson exit?

 

If its the shop that built my last motor its off the Raliegh exit back toward downtown. They build me a great Dodge smallblock about 1990.
