keyless entry pad problems
I recently replaced my lightning's battery. Now when I use my key pad entry code the alarm starts to sound the second I push the first number in the code. It stops when I enter the entire code. This was not a problem until I replaced the battery. Any ideas?

Check the book if you havnt already. I have a '04 F250 and one time I got into a programming mode with the keypad by accident and made it to lock the doors when it is put into drive...somehow I did it from the keypad because after entering my code the horn went 3 times. I had to dig a bit in the book but there was some long stupid process to turn it off....seat belt, headlights, key...something like that but in a different order....
