Keyless Entry Code Problem
Hey everyone!
Hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.
My friend has a 2005 Explorer XLT, 3rd owner.
She has the keyless entry code pad on the door, and wanted to figure out the code for it.
I opened up the rear trim panel and found the box with the sticker with the code! so yay there!
Unfortunately, inputting the code does not work
I tested each button on the pad, and each one does light up and turn green when I press it, and holding down the last 2 buttons does lock the doors.
I'm a little confused as to what I could be doing wrong, and hoping someone here with more experience then I can chime in and help.

I found the same issue on my grandsons 02 EB Explorer. Tried every number I saw on the unit...nothing. It locks and lights up as yours. No record of any boxes being changed either. Ford says they can read it for about $80...
