Input on Turbo upgrade

OK since my PMS is getting really bad I have decided to upgrade my turbo, I have been doing a lot of research and I still don't know what to get. At this point I have the standard mods, see my signature. I plan on eventually going with bigger injectors, BTS Hpop, head studs, fuel system the whole nine yards but it is going to be one step at a time. Here in lies my question, I want to get a turbo that I will be able to grow into, but I want to keep it very streetable since it is my daily driver and also my tow rig, I don't tow a lot of weight but I do give it a good workout every once in a while. I have been leaning towards the H2E but I would like some input from the more experienced guys around here. What do you all think?

It really depends on what kind of mods and how much power you want to go with. If you are for example looking to crack over 500hp, buying a turbo now and slapping it on your truck would probably be a mistake. Either you will buy a turbo too big for your current mods to make it streetable, or buy a turbo too small for your future mods and you'll have to change it out again. Post a horsepower goal that you are shooting for, and then we can make some recommendations on the type of turbo, injectors, etc. that you should be looking for, as well as when and what you should do with your truck.

More than likely if you are going with some really big injectors down the road, it's best to buy the turbo at the same time. Even an H2E on your current setup will be laggy on the bottom end, and will hurt your towing until you get more fuel to support it.

An h2e will be fine with stock injectors. No sence in buying a bb or turbonetics turbo now, then having to upgrade later when you get big injectors.

Well as long as it I can keep it streetable I would like to be over 500hp and somewhere around 1000 ft./lbs of torque when I am all done, which will probably be a while but if I can't get my PMS under control it might be real soon!

The H2E would be a great turbo to build into to, and should get you over 500hp.

500 streetable will be no problem. My lowest hp daily driver setting dynoed 478hp and doesnt smoke unless you lay into it pretty hard. 500 on a reg h2 might be a bit smokey, but thats when you send it in to BDP and have it modifed with a larger compressor wheel. Then 500 will be a walk in the park .
