01 excursion, need help
i have an 01 ex with 7.3. have had a small issue with the truck kind of forgetting a shift point between 1st and 2nd. now my wife just took it up the road and it started acting up. basically after it shifts from 1st to 2nd, it feels like the truck is putting the brakes on. i just talked to a guy who said it sounds like the clutches are binding together? its not throwing any codes, the overdrive light is not blinking. the truck only has 71k on it. does this sound right? any input would be appreciated. i put this in the transmission forum also, figured it cant hurt to put in both
