finding a compressor housing o'ring

finding a compressor housing o'ring
going to be installing my ATS housing toimorrow, thought while I had it apart id replace the o'rings, I can get get the small one that goes to the Y pipe for like $5 at the dealer, but the guy i know at the parts dealer is having problems finding the larger o'ring that goes on the back side of the compressor housing...is this servicable? where could i get one? or is it not worth the hassle if its in good shape when i take it off? thanks

I did not replace mine, as it was in good shape. Just be very careful if you have to remove it. Most of the time, it will stay on the compressor backplate and you don't have to worry with removing it. I know others have tried to find that o-ring before though, and didn't have much luck. If all else fails, you can use a small bead of silicon around the edge of the housing. Just don't go overkill with it.
See how it goes though when you take the stock housing off. You may not have anything to worry about.

Only need to replace that seal if you were to break it. In my case, i broke it when i rebuilt my turbo. So no one wanted to sell me one without the rest of the turbo, i had to make my own with Permatex The Right Stuff. It is, well, the Right Stuff to use if you cant find an o-ring.
