two questions. and i did do a search first but didnt get a good answer for either one. first, i have manual hubs with manual trans case and need to know what way is locked and unlocked on the hubs? i let a buddy use my truck and he dont remember if he unlocked the hubs or not and of course the markings are wore off. second, i want to lift the front up with a leveling kit and i am on a bit of a budget right now(wife). what do you guys think of the rough country add a leaf? or what do you recommend?
I put a Tuff Country add a leaf on mine and it raised the front enough to put 35's on with out problems. It raised it 1.75'', which isn't all the way level, but when I put a load in the back it sets level.
I would recommend the Donahue Racing 2.5" Mini pac if you have stock springs. You could also go with RCD 2" hangers in the front. Check out Truck Toyz they are a sponsor here. Hope this helps
how was the tuff country to put on? did it change the ride much? i alredy have the shocks that are for two inches of lift, i was trying to think ahead. how much is the mini pac? thanks.

About 3 hours in my my driveway with only hand tools, as I didn't have my air compressor set up. Ride is very good, I think better than stock, but the springs were getting weak and soft. It only cost $120, so a pretty economical upgrade.
Also you can use stock shocks with this set up.
what about the rough country 2"? is that a good one or not? this is the one i think i want! i have a 300 pound bumper on the front, i think a half inch is going to make a differance. anyone have the rough country on?
