I did a 6.0 swap into a 2000 Superduty. I swapped the entire dash, and harness. Everything comes on with the key, but the engine.
A guy on another board suggested that I unplug the single wire male/female connector on the passenger side of the engine bay and jump the male side of the connector to see if the engine turns over. It runs when I do this, but I can not put it into gear and the accelerator pedal does not work.
i dont think anyone here will be able to help you because this is way to big. to many wires to just be called wires. if you had everything right, i would think that it would be a no start no a no crank.
alright, I finally got the engine to turn over with the key. What I didn't know, or think to check was the position of the arm on the trans. I thought that all the way to the left was park. So, I guess I was probably trying to get it to crank over in 1st? . Now, I just can't get it to come out of park and into gear. And, the throttle still will not work. Is there a way to re-set the throttle actuator somehow?
